West Mesquite has gone a perfect 7-0 against Samuell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wranglers will look to defend their home court against the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

West Mesquite lost 3-0 to North Mesquite on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Wranglers have suffered against the Stallions since August 20, 2019.

Meanwhile, Samuell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against Adams, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-13.

Samuell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for West Mesquite, their loss dropped their record down to 7-21.

West Mesquite took their win against Samuell in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Wranglers repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
