Softball Recap: Theodore Bobcats vs. Pike Road Patriots
Theodore lost against Pike Road back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Theodore Bobcats fell 13-8 to the Pike Road Patriots. Theodore has not had much luck with Pike Road recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
For Pike Road's part, Ameria Anderson was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Belyeu, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, a stolen base, and a run.
Theodore's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-18. As for Pike Road, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 27-19 record this season.
Theodore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pike Road, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-5 victory vs. Spanish Fort on the 7th.
