With a playoff win on the line, St. Mary's Springs rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Reedsville Panthers as they made off with an 8-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Ledgers, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for St. Mary's Springs and bumps their season record up to 16-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Reedsville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.

Coming up, St. Mary's Springs will face off against Mishicot on Thursday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 0.5 runs per game this season, so the Ledgers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Reedsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
