Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Natalie Gill and Anna Wagner Lead Navarre to Victory

Navarre won the last time they faced Milton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders walked away with a 3-1 win over the Panthers.

The victory didn't come easy: Milton scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21.

Leading Navarre to victory were Anna Wagner and Natalie Gill. Wagner had seven digs and five aces, while Gill had eight digs and two aces. Those five aces gave Wagner a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Navarre was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. They served nine more aces than Milton's also-impressive total of ten.

Navarre's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Milton, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Navarre didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Pace on the 27th. As for Milton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Escambia on the 28th.
