Baseball Recap: Providence Athletic Club Triumphs

Providence Athletic Club was not the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Asheville T Trailblazers, sneaking past 4-2. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Trailblazers on Saturday, they had to take a 9-6 loss.

Providence Athletic Club let Evan Watt and Kyle McFarland run wild. Watt scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2, while McFarland scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Watt has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. James Britt also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
