Southwind's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering Phoenix by a score of 11-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Jaguars considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Southwind's victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Southwind beat Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering by a score of 9-8 later that day.
