Homewood-Flossmoor is a perfect 5-0 against Rich Township since May of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Vikings will welcome the Raptors at 5:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Homewood-Flossmoor sitting on three straight wins and Rich Township on four.

Homewood-Flossmoor will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Lincoln-Way West, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Vikings came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

Homewood-Flossmoor easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Rich Township had just enough and edged out Bloom 2-1 on Thursday.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Rich Township got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-23.

Homewood-Flossmoor better keep an eye on Phillip Watkins. He was instrumental in Rich Township's win, getting ten digs.

Rich Township couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 45.3% of their attack attempts. That's the best hitting percentage they've posted all season.

Rich Township's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-13. As for Homewood-Flossmoor, their win bumped their record up to 26-8.

Homewood-Flossmoor beat Rich Township 2-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Raptors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
