Volleyball Recap: Elkins Beats North Marion for Their Fourth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Elkins waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the North Marion Huskies. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.

Elkins never let North Marion on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17.

Elkins' offense was headlined by Jasmin Workman and Leah Ours, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Hannah Currence and her eight assists. Maura O'Neill and Aubrey Currence kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

The victory got Elkins back to even at 11-11-1. As for North Marion, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Coincidentally, Elkins and North Marion will both be playing Robert C. Byrd the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Huskies will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
