Soccer Recap: South Caldwell Takes a Loss

South Caldwell lost against Ashe County back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 2-1. South Caldwell have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-1. As for Ashe County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Caldwell is set to take on their familiar foe Hibriten at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ashe County will square off against rival Watauga at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
