Basketball Recap: John Paul II Takes a Loss

John Paul II was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the New Braunfels Christian Academy Wildcats, falling 87-27. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Centurions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-18 back in December of 2024.

John Paul II's record is now 3-22. As for New Braunfels Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John Paul II has already played their next contest (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. New Braunfels Christian Academy will be playing at home against Incarnate Word Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
