Basketball Recap: Burlingame Extends Winning Streak to Two

Burlingame won the last time they faced Hillsdale and Jean-Luc Uharriet did his part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 75-54 margin over the Fighting Knights on Tuesday thanks in part to Uharriet, who shot 80% from beyond the arc on his way to 30 points and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.8% shooting accuracy.

Lucca Maher was another key player, going 6-for-13 en route to 15 points and seven boards. He also put up a block, which was his first of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Burlingame and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points over those games. As for Hillsdale, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Burlingame has already played their next contest, a 56-38 victory against Palo Alto on the 11th. As for Hillsdale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 65-56 defeat against Leigh on the 11th.
