Softball Recap: Brockway Rovers vs. Brookville Raiders
Brockway barely beat Brookville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rovers blew past the Raiders 16-4 on Thursday. Considering the Rovers have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Bailee Carberry looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.
At the plate, Meeca Smith was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Josie Orkinko also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
