After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Williamson, Sayre was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Galeton Tigers 3-0. The Redskins were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Tigers, so the Redskins were just returning the favor.

Sayre not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Galeton between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-21.

Sayre is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Galeton, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Sayre will be playing at home against Wyalusing Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Galeton, they will head out on the road to take on Cameron County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
