Baseball Recap: Annandale Takes a Loss

If Annandale was feeling good fresh off their 15-3 takedown of Lewis on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Atoms came up short against the Meridian Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 23-6. The loss continues a trend for the Atoms in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Annandale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Meridian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Annandale will venture away from home to challenge Edison at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Meridian, they will head out to square off against Millbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
