Volleyball Game Preview: NorthWood Panthers vs. Granger Christian Knights

The NorthWood Panthers will head out to square off against the Granger Christian Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

It was a proper cat-fight when NorthWood took on Elkhart on Monday. The Panthers came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Granger Christian came up short against South Bend Riley on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-12.

NorthWood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Granger Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything went NorthWood's way against Granger Christian when the teams last played back in March, as NorthWood made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
