The Hunter Wolverines will face off against the Spanish Fork Dons at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Hunter is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over Viewmont. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

KENYA LAPUAHO was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 11 matchups.
In other batting news, IZABELLA MAILO was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in March. ALEXA OLSEN was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
Hunter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Viewmont only posted a batting average of .316.
Meanwhile, Spanish Fork got the win against Fremont on Friday by a conclusive 16-1.
Lia Higginson was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Baylee Smith, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
Spanish Fork's win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Hunter, their victory bumped their record up to 21-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hunter has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Spanish Fork struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
