Football Game Preview: Ridge Spring-Monetta vs. North

Ridge Spring-Monetta have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against North at 7:30 PM. Ridge Spring-Monetta have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.

After having lost a blowout to Saluda in their previous contest, Ridge Spring-Monetta were happy to find some success two weeks ago. Everything went Ridge Spring-Monetta's way against Whitmire as they made off with a 38-6 victory.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-42, which was the final score in North's tilt against Whitmire last week. North were down by 6-35 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Ridge Spring-Monetta's win lifted them to 1-2 while North's loss dropped them down to 0-4. We'll see if Ridge Spring-Monetta's success rolls on or if North are able to steal their positive momentum.
