They blew past Tradition Prep 60-38. Given Somerset Academy - Canyons' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while Tradition Prep is ranked 579th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

That makes it two consecutive games in which Diaz has scored at least 25% of Somerset Academy - Canyons' points. Another player making a difference was Watson Eloi, who scored 10 points.
Despite the defeat, Tradition Prep saw an underclassman step up: Jayden Harris scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aydan Fields, who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
Somerset Academy - Canyons' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Tradition Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Somerset Academy - Canyons will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Katz Yeshiva at 7:00 p.m. Tradition Prep won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sebastian River at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Hopefully Sebastian River focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Thursday.
