Baseball Recap: Shields Triumphs

Shields proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Sweet Water Bulldogs 27-26.

Shields' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Sweet Water, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Shields does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sweet Water, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-0 victory against Marengo on the 2nd.
