Basketball Recap: Wetumpka Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Prattville Christian Academy on Friday, Wetumpka came back down to earth. The Indians fell 68-63 to the Prattville Lions on Tuesday. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Defeat or not, Wetumpka got some senior leadership from Chris Robinson and Andrew Voyles. Robinson shot 41% from the field to rack up 19 points along with eight assists and eight boards, while Voyles went 8-for-14 en route to 22 points and eight assists. Voyles is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Kaleb Ballard was another key player, putting up six points in addition to 13 rebounds and four blocks.

Deshawn Hall had a dynamite game For Prattville., dropping a double-double with 38 points and 16 boards. Another player making a difference was Jersey Farbes, who posted 12 points.

Wetumpka now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Prattville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Wetumpka will take on Elmore County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prattville, they will challenge Stanhope Elmore at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
