Soccer Game Preview: Highland vs. Rowland Hall

The Highland Rams will square off against the Rowland Hall Winged Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Highland is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Highland fell victim to Skyline and their airtight defense last Friday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Rowland Hall and Draper APA meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again last Thursday. The Winged Lions had just enough and edged out the Eagles 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Rowland Hall were the better team in the second half.

Noa Fukushima and Fran Fierro scored both of Rowland Hall's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Highland now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Rowland Hall, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.
