 Hamilton put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Plainwell Trojans onto the board and left with  a   15-0  victory. Hamilton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five games by nine  runs or more this season.
  Kelsey Mersman was a major factor no matter where she played. She  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and only one walk). Mersman was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news, Hamilton got a  massive  performance out of  Malenna Luckadoo, who  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Savanna Eding, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Hamilton pushed their record up to 8-0 with that  win, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Plainwell,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-3.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hamilton beat Plainwell by a score of  16-3 later that day.
