Basketball Recap: Victory Charter Gets the Win + How To Watch

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Victory Charter ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top against the Council Lumberjacks by a score of 52-44. This was a revenge game for the Vipers: when they faced off against the Lumberjacks last Wednesday, they had to take a 54-47 defeat.

Victory Charter found their leader in sophomore Tamaya Rogers, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 26 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mikayla Zink, who went 7-for-17 on her way to 15 points and five boards.

The victory got Victory Charter back to even at 1-1. As for Council, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
