Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 57-33 to the Greenville Red Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 44-37 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2018.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Greenville, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillcrest will head out to square off against Burns at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Greenville, they and Rock Hill will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. That contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Chloe Hudson and Ava Owens.
