Volleyball Recap: John F. Kennedy Catholic Wins Going Away Against Varsity Opponent

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ursuline, John F. Kennedy Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Varsity Opponent.

John F. Kennedy Catholic was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-18.

Hannah Myers paced John F. Kennedy Catholic's offense, picking up 23 kills. Myers got some help from Gabrielle Consiglio and her 29 assists. Myers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

John F. Kennedy Catholic picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 6-4.

Looking ahead, John F. Kennedy Catholic will square off against Tuscarawas Central Catholic at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Varsity Opponent has already played their next matchup (against Troup County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
