Volleyball Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Takes a Loss

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 20-25, 25-22.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, they moved to 5-14 with that victory, which also ended their six-match losing streak.

While Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
