Basketball Recap: Ontario Comes Up Short

Ontario was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Marion Harding Presidents. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ontario's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Marion Harding, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Ontario and Madison Comprehensive will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marion Harding, they will take on Jefferson Area at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson Area will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Marion Harding surely won't give up without a fight.
