Basketball Recap: Broomfield Skates Past Mountain Range with Ease + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rock Canyon, Broomfield was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 75-45 win over the Mountain Range Mustangs. The Eagles not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since January 28th (when they won 98-26).

Broomfield was led to victory by Caleb Dunn and Luke Wadlington. Dunn went 8-for-11 en route to 16 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals, while Wadlington shot 43% from the field on his way to 13 points along with eight boards and three steals. Dunn is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Kolt Smith, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

Broomfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.

The victory got Broomfield back to even at 1-1. As for Mountain Range, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Broomfield will square off against ThunderRidge at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mountain Range, they will take on Arapahoe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
