After only one  run in their last  game, Fruitport made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Fremont  on Friday. The Trojans blew past the Packers 11-0. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven matchups by 11  runs or more  so far this season.
 Brooklyn Russell was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  a single  walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Madyson Prout, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Brylee Dewitt also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
 Fruitport was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .409. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fremont only posted a  batting average of  .263.
Fruitport's record is now 8-1. As for Fremont,  with the  loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3-1.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fruitport beat the Packers by a score of  11-0 later that day.
