Volleyball Recap: Benson Beats Miami for Their Fourth Straight Win

Benson waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Miami Vandals as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Benson was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-9.

Raeli Farnsworth paced Benson's offense, picking up five kills. Farnsworth got some help from Halle Hatch and her ten assists. Hatch was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 14 aces.

Benson's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Miami, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Benson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against San Miguel on the 12th. As for Miami, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against San Tan Foothills on the 15th.
