Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Valley Beats Davenport Central for Their Third Straight Win

Pleasant Valley had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Davenport Central Blue Devils 3-0 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Pleasant Valley was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-11.

Among those leading the charge was Addi Allaman, who had six digs and four aces. Those four aces gave her a new career-high.

Pleasant Valley's win bumped their record up to 28-5. As for Davenport Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Coming up, Pleasant Valley will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dubuque Senior at 7:00 p.m. Davenport Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
