Softball Game Preview: London Pirates vs. Ingleside Mustangs

London is 0-3 against Ingleside since February of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The London Pirates will challenge the Ingleside Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Ingleside took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on London, who comes in off a win.

If London beats Ingleside with seven runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. London beat HCYA on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Meanwhile, Ingleside lost 10-3 to Southlake Carroll on Saturday.

Ingleside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Beth Aceves, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

London now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Ingleside, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

London suffered a grim 18-12 defeat to Ingleside in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can London avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
