Baseball Recap: Lancaster Catholic Triumphs

While Lancaster Catholic's victory against Delone Catholic wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Crusaders narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Squires 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

The team relied heavily on Parker LaFerriere, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Park Bachman also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Lancaster Catholic now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Delone Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lancaster Catholic will welcome Middletown at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Delone Catholic, they will host West York Area at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
