Baseball Recap: Minco Victorious

Minco posted their closest victory since April 10, 2025 on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Madill Wildcats, sneaking past 7-6. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Minco has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Madill, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Minco has already played their next matchup, an 8-5 victory against Tishomingo on the 27th. As for Madill, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-2 loss against Boswell on the 28th.
