Football Game Recap: Verdugo Hills vs. Torres

Torres had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They were able to grind out a solid win over Verdugo Hills, winning 24-16. After losing to Verdugo Hills the last time they met, Torres decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. This was the first game for both teams, giving Torres a 1-0 record and starting Verdugo Hills off at 0-1.

In two weeks, Torres take on Belmont at 7:00 PM. As for Verdugo Hills, they will face of against Kennedy.
