Volleyball Recap: Palisades Dolphins vs. Porterville Panthers

Palisades had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Porterville Panthers 3-0 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Dolphins sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

While Palisades might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Porterville scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Porterville still got an impressive performance from Sianna Prum, who had 11 digs. Prum is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last four games she's played.

Palisades' victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 30-11. As for Porterville, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 31-7.

Palisades will face off against Central Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Valley Christian will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Palisades surely won't give up without a fight. Porterville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
