Basketball Recap: Vallejo Starts Season with Loss at Home

Vallejo unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 79-33 loss at the hands of the American Canyon Wolves on Saturday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

The win made it two in a row for American Canyon and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Vallejo is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Armijo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for American Canyon, they will face off against Hercules at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
