Football Game Preview: Salem Greyhounds vs. Mountain View Yellowjackets

The Salem Greyhounds will head out on the road to face off against the Mountain View Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Salem will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

On Friday, Salem humbled Yellville-Summit with a 66-8 victory. That 58 point margin sets a new team best for the Greyhounds this season.

Salem relied on the efforts of Kaden Brink, who rushed for 117 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, and Jackson Taylor, who rushed for 20 yards and a pair of scores. Everything came up roses for Salem against Mountain View in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 45-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Greyhounds since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
