Middletown Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 63-10 win over Dayton Christian. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Twin Valley South challenged Ansonia on Saturday. Twin Valley South fell to Ansonia 45-39. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Middletown Christian will have to contain Brylii Day as she made an impact in Twin Valley South's last game. She dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. That's the most rebounds Day has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Maci Arndts, who posted five points and eight rebounds.

Middletown Christian pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.4 points per game. As for Twin Valley South, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.
