Milford had won 13 straight games and Sadler Barnes did his part to make it 14 on Thursday. The Milford Tigers snuck past the Wayne Badgers with a 57-53 win thanks in part to Barnes, who went 9 of 20 en route to 21 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. The matchup was his eighth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Kielen Tsosie, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last four games he's played.

Wayne lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brayden Lee, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. Blake Peterson was another key player, going 7 for 14 on his way to 15 points and five assists.

Milford pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. As for Wayne, their record is now 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milford will challenge North Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wayne, they will take on Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
