Basketball Game Preview: White House Blue Devils vs. Macon County Tigers

The White House Blue Devils will face off against the Macon County Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, White House was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-47 to Portland. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Macon County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-33 heartbreaker at the hands of KIPP Nashville Collegiate. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since February 12, 2024.

Macon County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for White House, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

White House was able to grind out a solid win over Macon County in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 74-67. Does White House have another victory up their sleeve, or will Macon County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
