Basketball Recap: Bedford Takes a Loss

Bedford was the 48-44 winner over Boston Latin when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bedford Buccaneers lost 59-38 to the Boston Latin Wolfpack on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Buccaneers have suffered against the Wolfpack since February 7, 2020.

Bedford is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12. As for Boston Latin, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bedford won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Fenway at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bedford is facing Fenway at the right time seeing as Fenway is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Boston Latin, they will challenge Tech Boston Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
