Basketball Recap: Inola Comes Up Short

Inola lost against Kansas back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Inola Longhorns fell to the Kansas Comets 57-53. While losing is never fun, the Longhorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Comets are ranked 112th).

Inola has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Kansas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Inola will host Verdigris at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Inola has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Kansas, they will face off against Jay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
