After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Georgetown, Socastee was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 72-53 victory over the Johnsonville Flashes. The Braves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Kyler Wethington produced another solid performance shooting 64% from the field on his way to 32 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chris Ryan, who posted 13 points.

The win got Socastee back to even at 2-2. As for Johnsonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Socastee will head out to challenge Berkeley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Johnsonville, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Andrews at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
