Basketball Recap: Thousand Oaks Takes a Loss

Thousand Oaks was the 70-53 winner over Agoura when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Thousand Oaks Lancers lost 71-51 to the Agoura Chargers on Wednesday. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elai Segev went supernova for Agoura, going 10 of 20 on his way to 23 points along with eight steals and seven boards. With that strong performance, Segev is now averaging an impressive 2.3 steals per game. Ethan Klopp was another key player, going 7 for 15 en route to 19 points.

Thousand Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Agoura, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-10.

Thousand Oaks wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 66-47 victory against Newbury Park on the 17th. Agoura has also already played their next game, a 77-48 loss against Calabasas on the 17th.
