Seven Rivers Christian managed to slip by Foundation Christian Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Seven Rivers Christian came up short against Foundation Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Seven Rivers Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Carrollwood Day came up short against Winthrop College Prep Academy on Tuesday and fell 3-1. While the Patriots didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spartans 25-21 in the first set.

Carrollwood Day started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-11, 25-14, 25-22.

Carrollwood Day dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Seven Rivers Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Seven Rivers Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Carrollwood Day in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will Seven Rivers Christian repeat their success, or does Carrollwood Day have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
