Volleyball Recap: Seaside Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Seaside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Monterey Dores. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dores from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Seaside was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Monterey's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-14.

Seaside's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Monterey, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-7.

Seaside has already played their next match (against Pacific Collegiate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Monterey, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Gonzales on the 21st.
