Diego Rivera is a perfect 7-0 against Jefferson since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:30 p.m. Diego Rivera will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Diego Rivera barely beat Math & Science College Preparatory the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sharks last Friday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Diego Rivera was: they took every set by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Jefferson came up short against West Adams last Friday and fell 3-1. The Democrats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

While Jefferson had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 15-25, 25-18.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Diego Rivera, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-11.

Diego Rivera took their victory against Jefferson when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Democrats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
