Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lafayette lost against Branford back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Buccaneers. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-16.

Brooke Lamb paced Lafayette's offense, picking up nine kills. Lamb got some help from Havyn Richardson and her 13 assists.

Branford was led to victory by Ava Alcorn and Emma Alcorn. Ava had 12 digs and seven assists, while Emma had eight digs and four assists. Those four assists gave Emma a new career-high.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Branford, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

Lafayette has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Fort White on the 13th. Branford has also already played their next matchup (against Bell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
