Basketball Recap: Jace Glenn Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Covenant Christian

Danville's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Covenant Christian Eagles by a score of 57-47. With that victory, the Hawks brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.

Danville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jace Glenn, who posted 15 points and eight boards. That's the most rebounds Glenn has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Muhammad, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 13 points and seven boards.

Danville's record now sits at 10-17. As for Covenant Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Danville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 77-36 defeat against Randolph School on the 28th. Covenant Christian has also already played their next contest, a 71-35 loss against Rogers on the 28th.
